SCHOLASTIC PROGRAMMES

Scholastic Programmes

Teaching students how to learn is just as important as teaching them what to learn. At HCES, we encourage our students to think for themselves, ask questions and pursue their interests through independent reading and research. All this is achieved through unique learning pedagogy with critical inputs of our advisory board who are lifelong teachers and learners.

Our curriculum is updated regularly to adapt to the fast changing global economy with inputs from the advisory board. Our teaching methodologies are also reviewed to ensure that teaching simulates students’ interest. HCES has the most modern classroom delivery systems, with interactive panel connected to the internet and an intranet for seamless access to content and knowledge. In addition, HCES has procured advanced teaching aids that assist the teachers to make the classes as interactive as possible and use different methods to get the best out of each student.

Collaborative learning is incorporated into lessons so students can share ideas and learn with and from each other. Students are engaged in experiential learning through a variety of resources. There are also many enrichment activities including outbound trips and exchanges with other schools.

It is our constant endeavor to facilitate our students to learn to be collaborators, innovators, and creative thinkers who will be ready to take on any challenge.
